years old. Do I have to keep exercising?” You sure do! The old
saying of “move it or lose it” rings true! Exercise is an integral
part of the Watertown chiropractic treatment plan at Watertown Wellness Center.
And we know our Watertown chiropractic patients waver
on their commitment to exercise. We get it and keep cultivating
our patients’ commitment to keep moving. We know
that once you realize how amazing you feel with exercise as part of your daily life, you will keep doing it!
EXERCISE FOR POST-MENOPAUSAL WOMEN
For post-menopausal women it’s even more important to keep exercising. In the
latest|a recent study of post-menopausal women with vertebral
fractures, spinal pain, back extensor muscle strength, trunk-arm endurance,
kyphosis, functional mobility, and quality of life all get
better with exercise, specifically a supervised exercise program over a home-based one.
(1) Would you agree with Watertown Wellness Center that if there is supervision, the
exercise is more likely to be done and done the right way? We all need a little extra encouragement to
do what we should at times.
Watertown Wellness Center does that for our Watertown back pain patients!
EXERCISE FOR ALL BACK PAIN SUFFERERS
Regardless of their age, Watertown
back pain patients benefit from exercise. Reviewers of the
exercise-for-back-pain-relief medical literature give in to
the published data and suggest that patients
do exercises they enjoy and can do easily.
Research’s best-evidence on rehabilitation for chronic low back
pain states that spinal manipulation and pain neuroscience
education combined with exercise with or without psychological
therapy is useful. Including
the psychological component to exercise seems to give
better outcomes that last longer. (2) It is never a bad idea|It never hurts to reach out for help with the emotional aspect of back pain and
neck pain. Watertown Wellness Center appreciates the opportunity to help
back pain patients to receive the care they desire.
